Should I be dumping more into silver right now? Feeling the pull.

Okay, so I've been a Gold IRA investor for a few years now, sitting on about $70k in precious metals, mostly gold. I'm a government guy here in Albuquerque, and this is pretty much my primary way of supplementing my pension down the line. I'm thinking about my allocation and it feels like gold has been doing its thing – slow and steady, which I appreciate. But man, the buzz around silver recently is getting to me. I keep seeing headlines and posts about its industrial demand, and how it’s still way undervalued compared to gold in historical ratios.
My current split is probably 80/20 gold to silver, maybe even higher on the gold side if I'm being honest. When I first started out, gold just felt like the "safe" bet, pure and simple. Now I'm wondering if I'm leaving too much upside on the table by not having a more aggressive silver position. I'm not looking to dump all my gold, obviously, but should I be shifting more of my new contributions there? Or even rebalancing a bit of what I already have?
I’m trying to decide if I should allocate a bigger chunk of my next contribution, maybe $5k-$10k, specifically into silver. The thought of it potentially skyrocketing feels good, especially since I've got a decent timeframe on this investment (still a good 15 years until retirement). But then the other part of me, the government employee part, is like, "Don't get greedy, stick to the plan!" My biggest fear is getting caught up in a hype cycle.
Anyone else in a similar boat, or have you made a significant shift into silver recently? What's your current gold/silver ratio looking like in your IRA? Any lessons learned from those of you who've been doing this longer than I have? I'd love to hear some thought processes, especially if you're not a full-on silver bug but still see its potential.
