Palladium IRA for a small fish like me?
- •I've been looking into rolling over a portion of my 401k into a Palladium IRA, but honestly, I feel like a minnow in a pond full of sharks.
- •When everyone's talking about multi-million dollar portfolios, my roughly $80k that I'm looking to convert for palladium feels pretty small-time.
- •I own a logistics company here in Memphis, and I'm starting to put together my succession plan for the next 5-7 years.
I've been looking into rolling over a portion of my 401k into a Palladium IRA, but honestly, I feel like a minnow in a pond full of sharks. When everyone's talking about multi-million dollar portfolios, my roughly $80k that I'm looking to convert for palladium feels pretty small-time. I own a logistics company here in Memphis, and I'm starting to put together my succession plan for the next 5-7 years. I want to secure a part of my retirement assets in something tangible, and palladium seems like an interesting play with industrial demand.
Are there any specific gold IRA companies that are better suited for smaller investments? I'm not looking for absurdly high fees that eat into my holdings, especially since the amount I'm moving isn't huge. I’ve seen a few names pop up repeatedly, but it's hard to tell which ones actually provide good service and fair pricing for someone not dropping a half-mil. Any smaller investors out there who've done a Palladium IRA with success?
Also, on a related note, with palladium having some pretty wild swings, I'm thinking about the RMDs down the line when I hit 73. Has anyone here used the RMD Calculator? I'm trying to get a clearer picture of how those required minimum distributions might play out with a less traditional asset like palladium. Would love to hear some real-world experiences!
