Hey everyone, just read this interesting piece on Canary Gold Corp. that John Newell put out: "This Emerging Brazilian Gold Story Is Beginning to Confirm Its Geological Model". Always good to see a company start to really confirm their geological models, especially in gold exploration. I've been burned a few times in the past by companies with big promises but not much follow-through on the ground. It seems like Canary Gold is doing the work to back up their claims, which is a huge plus in my book. Brazil can be a tricky jurisdiction, but the potential there for gold discoveries is undeniable.
I've got a small position in a couple of junior explorers right now, mostly in Canada, but I've been eyeing some diversification into South America, particularly for commodities that are seeing increased demand. My retirement portfolio, which I'm slowly building up for my kids' future, definitely needs some exposure to sectors beyond just tech. The idea of an "emerging Brazilian gold story" is certainly enticing. Confirming the geological model early on could really de-risk the investment, though obviously, no guarantees in this business!
What are your thoughts on this? Has anyone here looked into Canary Gold Corp. before, or other gold explorers in Brazil? Always keen to hear different perspectives from experienced investors. Thanks!
