Anyone have Gold IRA custodian recommendations? Dealing with a meh one right now.

Okay, so I've been a pretty consistent Gold IRA investor for the past three years, steadily building up my precious metals holdings. I'm sitting on around $180k in my IRA right now, mostly gold but with some platinum too, which is the main reason I'm here. My current custodian... well, they're just okay. Not terrible, but definitely not great either. Communication is slow, their online portal is clunky, and I feel like I'm always chasing them for updates or answers to basic questions.
As a healthcare administrator, my days are already packed, and the last thing I need is to be spending precious evening hours wrestling with my IRA custodian. I'm based in Tampa, FL, so ideally, someone with a strong East Coast presence or just generally excellent customer service regardless of location would be great. I've always prioritized stability and good communication, especially with an investment as significant as this. I’m thinking about rolling over some funds or perhaps even a full transfer if I find a really stellar option.
I’ve used that Gold IRA Calculator a few times to project potential returns and it's been super helpful for planning, but it doesn't give you the scoop on custodian quality, you know? What have your experiences been like? Any custodians you've used for your Gold and Platinum IRAs that really stood out, either positively or negatively? Looking for someone who makes the whole process smoother, not more complicated.
Specifically, if anyone has experience with custodians who handle Platinum IRAs efficiently, I'd love to hear it. Are there any common pitfalls folks have encountered when switching custodians? I want to make sure I do my due diligence this time around and pick someone who's a true partner in this investment journey, not just a holding service.
