Any Palladium IRA success stories out there? Looking to diversify my precious metals.

Been thinking a lot lately about diversifying my precious metals holdings beyond just gold and silver. I’ve been running my tourism business here in Savannah for over 15 years now, and let me tell you, I’ve seen enough economic storms to know that you can never be too prepared. Gold has certainly been a steady anchor for a chunk of my 200k portfolio, but palladium has caught my eye as another potential recession-proof asset, especially with its industrial demand.
My concern, of course, is the volatility. While gold tends to shine in economic downturns, I'm wondering if palladium would follow suit or if its industrial ties make it more vulnerable if a recession truly crushes manufacturing. I’ve got a decent chunk in a Gold IRA already, and I'm looking at potentially allocating 10-15% of my precious metals budget to palladium if the numbers make sense. Has anyone here had experience setting up a Palladium IRA? What was your process like? Any particular custodians you recommend?
I’m all about doing my homework before diving in. I used that Eligibility Checker tool to make sure I even could open another precious metals IRA, and it was super straightforward. Now I’m just trying to get a feel for the real-world experiences. My biggest fear is getting into something that sounds good on paper but doesn't actually perform when things get tough, which, let's be honest, feels like it could be any day now.
So, any long-term palladium investors out there? How has it performed for you during economic shifts? Also, any horror stories or unexpected benefits I should be aware of? Really appreciate any insights from this community!
