Platinum IRA - Is anyone else feeling the inflation

Okay, so I've been seeing a lot of chatter lately about inflation and it's starting to really get under my skin. As a school principal, I'm already seeing the cost of literally everything going up – school supplies, food for the cafeteria, even the gas to get to work each day feels like it's doubled. It's got me thinking a lot about the future, especially my retirement savings. My Gold IRA has been doing pretty well, but with all this talk about inflation continuing to rise, I'm starting to wonder if I should be diversifying even further.
I've got about $75k in my Gold IRA right now, and I’ve been pretty happy with how it’s performed, especially during some of these wild market swings. But I'm looking at platinum as another option to hedge against this inflation. I'm based in Little Rock, and honestly, the thought of my hard-earned savings losing purchasing power really stresses me out. I teach financial literacy to my students, and I constantly tell them about the importance of planning for the future and protecting their assets, so I need to walk the talk myself.
Has anyone here ventured into a Platinum IRA? I'm curious about your experiences. Are you seeing similar gains or stability compared to gold during these inflationary periods? What are the biggest pros and cons you've encountered? I'm trying to decide if it's worth allocating a portion of my next investment into platinum instead of just adding more to my existing gold. Any advice from folks who've been down this road would be greatly appreciated!
