Platinum IRA - Eagles vs. Buffalos for the long haul?

Alright, so I’ve been heavily into Gold IRAs for a while now, sitting on a pretty healthy allocation that's done well for me over the past decade. But I'm starting to eye up platinum, especially with some of the industrial demand projections. Did my due diligence, spoke with my financial advisor (who knows my general investing philosophy pretty well at this point), and we're looking to open a Platinum IRA account with about 100k to start, with potential to add more if I like how it performs compared to my gold allocation. My question to the group is this: for a long-term play in a Platinum IRA, are you leaning towards the American Platinum Eagle or the Platinum Buffalo?
From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I've always been a fan of the Eagles – classic design and recognizability. But the Buffalo has its own unique appeal. Putting aside the pretty pictures for a moment, I'm thinking about liquidity down the line, premiums, and overall market acceptance. I’ve heard arguments for both sides. My gold holdings are predominantly Eagles and Canadian Maples, so I'm familiar with their ins and outs. With platinum, it feels a little less established for most retail investors, so I want to make sure I'm making a sound decision from the jump.
I’m based out here in Virginia Beach, and while I’ve got some excellent local connections for physical gold, platinum seems to be a different beast. Has anyone here had a bad experience selling either the Platinum Eagles or Buffalos? Are there any hidden fees or extra hoops to jump through with one over the other when it comes to an IRA rollover or future distributions? I retired as an Admiral, so I tend to be pretty meticulous with my planning, and I like to understand the full landscape before committing. Appreciate any insights from you seasoned platinum investors!
