Just bought some silver eagles through Augusta! Thoughts?

Well, I finally did it! After months of hemming and hawing and listening to my husband talk my ear off about precious metals, I pulled the trigger and opened a Gold IRA with Augusta Precious Metals. We’re farmers here outside Kansas City, and honestly, the whole stock market just feels like betting on the weather sometimes. I’d much rather have something I can actually hold, you know? Something real.
My initial investment was around $60,000, and I decided to split it between gold and silver. For the silver portion, I went with a good chunk of American Silver Eagles. They just arrived at the depository (I chose Delaware Depository because it felt like a good, solid option), and I'm feeling a mix of relief and excitement. The process with Augusta was surprisingly smooth. Our rep, Sarah, was incredibly patient with all my questions – and believe me, as a farmer’s wife, I had a LOT of questions about everything from storage fees to market fluctuations. She didn't push us at all, which I really appreciated. No high-pressure sales tactics, just straight answers.
I know silver can be more volatile than gold, but I like the idea of having smaller, more divisible assets in case things really go south. Plus, those Eagles are just beautiful to look at, even if I can't actually hold them in my hand right now! I'm hoping this is a good way to diversify our retirement savings and protect against inflation, especially with all the talk about the economy these days. What are everyone else's thoughts on Silver Eagles as an IRA asset?
Anyone else here in the Midwest investing in physical silver through an IRA? What's been your experience with Augusta or other companies? Just curious to hear other perspectives!
