Is anyone else feeling super bearish on silver in the short term? My stack feels heavy.

Okay, so I’ve been stacking silver pretty consistently for the last two years, ever since I really started getting serious about securing my late husband's legacy. He always talked about tangible assets, and after he passed, I wanted to make sure his hard work was protected. I put about $30k into a Gold IRA and then started buying physical silver, initially just junk silver from my local coin shop here in Raleigh. It felt good to hold something real, you know?
My strategy was simple: buy a little every month, mostly 1oz American Silver Eagles or generic rounds when I found good deals. My total portfolio is probably in the $70k range right now, maybe a little more, with about $20k of that in physical silver sitting in my safe. But lately, I’m just feeling… antsy. The price action has been so depressing. Every time it seems to break out, it gets smacked back down. I keep looking at my stack and wondering if I made the right call putting so much into it.
I know the long-term outlook for silver is generally positive, especially with industrial demand, but the short-term feels like a real drag. I’m thinking of slowing down my purchases or even pausing for a bit, maybe even diverting some funds to something else less volatile. I wouldn’t sell, absolutely not – this is long-term hold for me and my kids’ future. But I’m just not feeling that excitement I used to when acquiring new pieces.
Is anyone else in a similar boat? Are you still buying silver aggressively, or are you becoming more selective? Any thoughts on why it's been so subdued despite all the inflation worries? Just looking for some commiseration or different perspectives on where silver is headed in the next 6-12 months.
