I'm currently running a 70/30 gold-to-silver split, mostly because gold feels like the "safer" bet, but I keep hearing a lot about silver's potential for bigger gains.

My thinking was to anchor with gold, which seems more stable, and then use silver for a bit more upside potential. But now I'm second-guessing if I should flip that, or at least go 50/50. I know silver can be more volatile, which gives me a bit of pause, especially since this is my first real foray into physical assets for retirement.
