First-timer here - just funded my Gold IRA, what's next?

Managed to get my Gold IRA fully funded last week, rollover from an old 401k went surprisingly smoothly after a few hiccups with paperwork. Feeling pretty good about having a chunk of my retirement finally sitting in actual physical assets, especially with all the market volatility lately. I've been eyeing this for a while, as someone in manufacturing here in Cleveland, hard assets just make sense to me in a way stocks sometimes don't. Ended up putting about $150k into it, mostly in Eagles and a few Buffaloes.
My big question for you seasoned folks: beyond the initial purchase, what should I be thinking about now? Is it mostly set-it-and-forget-it, or are there things I should be monitoring regularly? I know the storage is handled by the custodian, but should I be checking in on storage reports or anything like that? My advisor was pretty good, but I'm always looking for more practical advice from people who've actually done it.
Also, how do you all typically decide when to rebalance or if you need to add more? I'm not planning on touching this for a long time, but it's good to have a strategy. I've been using that Gold vs Stocks Comparison tool quite a bit lately, running the numbers for the past 10 years just to get a feel for how gold stacks up. It's been pretty eye-opening honestly, especially seeing the consistent value.
Any insights from folks who've been doing this for a while would be much appreciated. What are the common pitfalls I should watch out for down the road? And for those of you also in the Midwest, any local resources or groups you'd recommend?
Thanks in advance for any wisdom you can share!
