Hey everyone, just read this article about Silver North Resources and their Haldane Project. Sounds like some pretty insane drill results coming out of there – 13.15 meters grading 81... that's a serious silver hit. I've been dabbling in a few junior miners for a while now, mostly in gold, but silver is definitely catching my eye more and more, especially with inflation worries and the general instability. I mean, my retirement portfolio needs to be diversified, and precious metals have always been part of that strategy for me and the wife.
This "Main Fault Discovery" just extending further, with some of the highest grades in Haldane's history, is really interesting. It suggests there's a lot more to uncover there. I'm always looking for those long-term plays that could really pop, and junior explorers with promising drill results are often where it's at. The risk is higher, of course, but so's the potential reward. I remember a few years back when I first got into gold, finding those early-stage companies that eventually blew up. This feels a bit like that.
What are your thoughts on SNAG and the Haldane Project? Has anyone else been following them, or are there other silver plays you're looking at? I've been trying to get a better handle on silver's performance relative to other assets lately. I found this Gold IRA Blueprint tool the other day that compares silver to stocks over different periods, which was pretty insightful when I was re-evaluating my own precious metals allocation. Always good to hear what the community is thinking on these kinds of discoveries!
