Holy moly, "bonanza intercepts" is not a phrase you hear every day in this business. As someone who's been in and out of mining stocks for a while, those kinds of drill results are what really gets the blood pumping. They're talking about extending Fruta del Norte's mine life beyond the current 12 years which, for a gold project of that scale, is massive for long-term predictability. I've always liked LUN for their fairly diversified portfolio and management, but FDN has been a core part of its value for sure. Expanding resources like this just derisks the future cash flow even more, which is crucial when you're looking at stocks for a retirement portfolio, something I'm really focusing on for my family these days.
What are your thoughts on this? Are you guys in LUN, or looking at other gold plays with similar exploration upside? Always interested to hear what the community thinks!
