Hey everyone, just read this article about Torr Metals (full article here) and their new copper-gold discovery. Apparently, they've started drilling at Bertha North. This immediately caught my eye because, as some of you know, I've been dabbling in junior miners for a while now, trying to find those early-stage gems. Copper, especially, has been on my radar, mainly because of how essential it's becoming for electrification and the EV transition. My son is obsessed with electric cars, and it's made me think a lot about what goes into them. When supply chains tighten, these overlooked juniors can really take off.

I’m cautiously optimistic about this one. The fact that they've found native copper is pretty significant. From my experience watching resource plays, native metals often indicate a robust system. And they're reporting some interesting geochemical and geophysical findings from their spring exploration. The key, as always, will be what comes out of these drills. I remember getting burned a few years back on a silver junior that had great surface samples but then the drill results were, shall we say, less than stellar. So I'm definitely going to keep a close eye on their next updates before I even consider adding TMET to my portfolio for my retirement goals.
