Birch Gold Group for smaller accounts? My experience with a ~$100k rollout

Thought I'd share my experience with Birch Gold Group, especially for those of you looking at them for smaller IRA rollovers. I dabble in gold as part of my overall diversified portfolio (I’m a doctor in Boston, so trying to keep things balanced with the market swings), and I had about $100k from a pre-tax 401k that I wanted to roll into a gold IRA. It's a relatively small piece of my larger 500k-1M portfolio, but something I still wanted handled professionally.
My main concern going in was fees and attention – I've heard some of these gold IRA companies can be great for huge rollovers but less so for "smaller" fish. My account exec at Birch was actually quite good. They walked me through the whole process, which felt a bit overwhelming at first with all the paperwork and IRS rules. I appreciated that they didn't try to upsell me into a massive chunk of obscure coins with huge premiums, which was a worry I had. We mostly stuck with common bullion like American Gold Eagles and Canadian Maples, which was exactly what I wanted for liquidity down the line.
The entire transfer took about 3-4 weeks from start to finish, which felt pretty reasonable. The storage facility (Delaware Depository) was also clearly explained, and I got all the confirmation docs without having to chase them down. Premiums seemed fair, especially compared to some of the online dealers I've casually checked out. While I’m heavy on gold, I’ve also been looking at silver lately. Has anyone checked out the "Silver vs Stocks" tool on Gold IRA Blueprint? I was playing around with it for the 10-year period (https://silvervsstocks.goldirablueprint.com/?period=10Y) the other day, and it's pretty eye-opening how different assets perform over time.
Overall, for a roughly $100k gold IRA rollover, my experience with Birch Gold Group was positive. They weren't pushy, answered all my questions, and got the job done.
Anyone else have experience with Birch Gold Group for similar-sized accounts? Or any other companies that really shine for these "mid-range" rollovers? Always curious to hear other people's perspectives.
