Anyone used Birch Gold with a smaller portfolio?

Thinking about diversifying a chunk of my retirement savings into physical gold and silver, specifically through a Gold IRA. I’ve been looking at Birch Gold Group, but it seems like a lot of the reviews and discussions I'm finding are from folks with pretty substantial portfolios, talking millions or at least high six figures. My situation is a bit different – I'm probably looking to roll over maybe $150k-$200k max into precious metals from an old 401k. I run a tourism business here in Savannah, and while we've seen our share of ups and downs over the years, this whole inflation anxiety has me seriously considering hard assets.
I like the idea of having something tangible, especially after seeing how quickly things can shift in the market. Been through a few recessions now, and the thought of some of my wealth being outside the traditional financial system is really appealing. Birch Gold seems reputable, but I'm wondering if their fee structure or minimums are more geared towards larger accounts. I don’t want to get hit with disproportionate fees that eat into my holdings just because my investment isn't in the seven-figure range.
Has anyone here worked with Birch Gold or a similar provider like Augusta Precious Metals with a portfolio roughly in my ballpark? Were you able to negotiate fees at all, or did you find that their services truly scale down for smaller investors? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth going down this road with them, or if there's another company that's a better fit for an account of my size without sacrificing service or selection. Any personal experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Just trying to protect what I've built, especially with all the economic uncertainty swirling around.
