Thinking about platinum for my new IRA - thoughts on undervaluation?

Okay, so I'm just getting started with my Gold IRA journey – literally opened it last month. I've got about $10k in there right now, mostly gold Eagles. Like a lot of people, I'm trying to figure out the best way to diversify without going crazy. I'm a teacher here in Columbus, so every penny counts, you know?
I've been doing some reading and watching some videos, and I keep seeing people talk about platinum. Specifically, the idea that it might be significantly undervalued right now compared to gold and even palladium. Some sources are pointing to the industrial demand potential, especially with the push for hydrogen fuel cells and green tech. Others are emphasizing its rarity. My broker mentioned it as an option, but didn't push it super hard.
Has anyone here diversified into platinum for their precious metals IRA? Or even just invested in it outside of an IRA? What are your thoughts on its current valuation? Do you think the "undervalued" argument holds water, or is it just more speculative than gold? I'm trying to be smart here and not just chase the shiny object, but the price difference between gold and platinum right now is definitely making me pause.
I'm thinking about potentially allocating maybe 10-15% of my current IRA into platinum, assuming I feel good about it after more research. Any advice or experiences, especially from those who started small like I am, would be super helpful!
