Thinking about palladium for my IRA - anyone here gone for it?
- •I've been kicking around the idea of adding some palladium to my Gold IRA, and wanted to see if anyone here has experience with it.

I've been kicking around the idea of adding some palladium to my Gold IRA, and wanted to see if anyone here has experience with it. Currently, about 15% of my 200k retirement portfolio is in various precious metals, mostly gold and silver through a Gold IRA, with the rest diversified in 401k and brokerage accounts. I’m an insurance agent here in Omaha, and I like to spread my risk around – hence the Gold IRA in the first place.
My metals holdings have been doing pretty well for me over the past few years, definitely glad I got in when I did. I'm just wondering if palladium is the next logical step for a bit more diversification within the metals space. I've been doing some research on the industrial demand and supply constraints, and it seems like it could have some interesting upside. But then again, it’s also a lot more volatile than gold, and that makes me a little nervous. Anyone here actually pulled the trigger and put palladium into their IRA? What’s your take on it?
I’ve been devouring all the content I can find, especially found a lot of useful info on the Learning Center at Gold IRA Blueprint. Seriously, if you haven’t checked it out, it’s a goldmine (pun intended!) of educational resources. But even with all the data, there's nothing quite like hearing from real people who are actually doing it. What are the cons I’m not seeing? Any big surprises or regrets?
I'm really trying to make a smart, informed decision here before I go moving any funds. Appreciate any insights you guys can offer!
