Thinking about adding palladium to my Gold IRA - anyone here doing it?

Okay, so I've been doing a lot of reading lately (probably too much, my wife would say) about diversifying my precious metals beyond just gold and silver. My Gold IRA's sitting at about $180k right now, mostly in various gold coins and bars, with a smaller chunk in silver. The gold's been a real lifesaver weathering the ups and downs of my tourism business here in Savannah over the years – definitely glad I rolled over a big chunk of my old 401k when I did. But with all the talk about industrial demand and potential supply squeezes for palladium, I'm starting to wonder if I should be dipping my toes in.
I know palladium can be pretty volatile, way more than gold sometimes. I've been through a few hurricanes with this business, so I understand market volatility, but this feels a bit different. I'm thinking maybe a small allocation, say 5-10% of my total precious metals... or is that still too much for something like palladium? My main goal here isn't to get rich quick, it's really about long-term wealth preservation and mitigating currency risk, especially with the way things are going globally.
Has anyone here actually added palladium to their IRA? What's your experience been? Did you regret it when the price dipped, or are you seeing it as a strong long-term play? I'm trying to wrap my head around the true industrial demand versus speculative buying. I used the Retirement Planner tool a while back when I was first setting up my Gold IRA, and it really helped me visualize asset allocation. I'm thinking of plugging in some palladium scenarios there to see how it affects my overall projected portfolio.
Just trying to figure out if it's a smart strategic move or if I should just stick to what I know works, which is mostly gold. Any thoughts, personal anecdotes, or even just articles you've found insightful would be much appreciated. Thanks!
