So many fees for IRA gold? What gives?

Okay, so I finally pulled the trigger and rolled over about $75k from an old 401k into a gold IRA. I'm a small business owner here in Denver, and between the market craziness and just wanting more stability, it felt like the right move. I spent a solid month looking at different companies, and honestly, the whole fee structure thing is still making my head spin a bit. I thought I had it straight, but now that the dust is settling, I'm questioning if I made the best choice.
I went with Augusta Precious Metals in the end. Their rep was super helpful, and I felt like they were pretty transparent about things. I know there's the initial setup fee, then annual storage (went with Delaware Depository, which seemed like the most reputable option), and pretty much a flat management fee. But then I see other companies talking about "no fees for life" or "fee waivers," and it makes me wonder if I missed something big. Are these just marketing gimmicks, or did I potentially overlook a cheaper option for my roughly $75k portfolio?
I'm still happy to have some of my retirement in physical gold, especially with all the economic uncertainty. But for anyone else who's gone through this, what were the most confusing fees for you? And for those of you with a similar portfolio size, what did your total annual fees shake out to be? Just trying to get a clearer picture moving forward now that I'm actually in it. Any insights are super appreciated!
