Silver IRA rollover - tax hit on old 401k?

Okay, so I just finished moving a portion of my old 401k into a Silver IRA. I'm a small business owner here in Denver, finally getting around to really diversifying my retirement savings. My financial advisor (who I really like, BTY) walked me through everything, but honestly, some of the tax stuff still feels a bit fuzzy. We rolled over about $75k into physical silver, and I'm feeling good about having some tangible assets, especially with all the economic uncertainty.
My main concern is making sure I didn't somehow trigger a huge tax bill by accident. I kept hearing about the 60-day rule and direct vs. indirect rollovers. We went with a direct rollover from my old 401k custodian to the new Silver IRA custodian. I think that means no taxes should be withheld, and no early withdrawal penalties since I'm under 59.5, but it's such a decent chunk of change that I'm just a little paranoid.
Has anyone else here done a similar rollover into a precious metals IRA? Did you have any unexpected tax surprises at the end of the year? Any tips on what to look out for come tax season, or specific forms I should make sure I get? Just trying to make sure all my ducks are in a row.
