Just wanted to share my experience so far with rolling over some of my old 401k into a Gold IRA. My 401k had really taken a hit last year, and I just couldn't shake the feeling that I needed something more secure for my retirement.

I started looking into Gold IRAs a few months ago. I've got a decent chunk set aside, probably around the mid-five figures range, and decided to move about $75k into physical gold. The whole process felt a bit daunting at first, mostly because it was just so different from what I'm used to with traditional investments.
