Platinum in a Gold IRA? Thinking about adding to my rollover, but metals are new to me.

Okay, so I've been seeing a lot of chatter lately about platinum potentially being undervalued, and it's got me thinking about my Gold IRA. I rolled over about $150k from a old 401k into a self-directed IRA last year, and put a decent chunk into physical gold and silver – mostly American Gold Eagles and some Silver Eagles. It felt like a solid, diversified move, especially since my other retirement accounts (a Roth and another 401k) are pretty traditional with stocks and bonds. I'm an insurance agent here in Omaha, and honestly, the thought of having some tangible assets outside the traditional market really appeals to me for stability.
My metals allocation is probably around 15% of that IRA right now, and I'm wondering if this is a good time to consider adding some platinum to the mix. I'm not looking to go crazy, maybe another 5-10% of the metals portion. I like the idea of holding something physical that's used in industrial applications, not just jewelry or investment. Plus, the price difference between gold and platinum right now is pretty significant. It feels like there's more upside potential, but then again, that's what everyone says when something is "undervalued," right?
For those of you with more experience in precious metals beyond just gold and silver, what are your thoughts on platinum right now, especially for an IRA? Is it really as undervalued as some analysts are making it out to be, or is there a reason it's lagging? Are there specific types of platinum coins or bars that are better for an IRA? Any gotchas I should be aware of besides the obvious volatility?
Thanks in advance for any insights – trying to make smart moves with this rollover money.
