Gold vs. Silver allocation - rebalancing thoughts?

Been thinking a lot about my precious metals allocation lately, especially with all the economic uncertainty brewing. I’m currently sitting at about 80/20 Gold to Silver in my Gold IRA. When I first diversified out of tech stocks a couple of years back (felt like the sensible move given the market volatility), Gold seemed like the obvious play – established, stable, the ultimate safe haven, you know the drill.
Now, I’m wondering if I’m missing something by not having a more substantial silver position. I’m seeing more and more talk about silver's industrial demand component – solar panels, EVs, electronics – effectively giving it a "gold with an industrial upside" kind of vibe. For someone like me who's still in my late 30s in SF, and a good chunk of my portfolio is still in growth-oriented assets, that extra kick from industrial demand is pretty compelling. My current metals holdings are sitting at around $300k, and I’m looking at potentially rebalancing another $50k-$75k within the next quarter or so.
Anyone else out there wrestling with this Gold vs. Silver ratio? What’s your current split and why? Are we looking at a genuine undervalued opportunity with silver, or is it still too volatile for a significant allocation compared to gold's steady hand? Really curious to hear some diverse perspectives here before I make any moves. I’m thinking maybe moving to a 65/35 or even 60/40 split, but I'm hesitant to reduce my gold too much.
