Just moved my 401K to a Gold IRA with Augusta. Thoughts?

Okay, so I finally pulled the trigger. After selling my tech company last year – got a pretty sweet exit, enough to keep me and the family comfy for a long, long time – I've been super squirrely about inflation and just the general instability of the market. My old 401K was looking... exposed, to say the least. So, after a ton of research, probably watched every YouTube video and read every forum ever, I decided to move a significant chunk, about $1.8M, into a Gold IRA with Augusta Precious Metals.
The whole process with Augusta was actually pretty smooth, I have to admit. From Dublin, Ohio, so I’m used to a certain level of service, and they delivered. Their rep, Isaac, was incredibly patient. I had a million questions, some of them probably pretty basic, but he never made me feel stupid. He walked me through the direct rollover from my traditional IRA, explained the storage options (went with Delaware Depository, seemed like the most robust), and made sure I understood the fee structure. No real surprises there, which is always a good sign.
They helped me pick out a mix of eligible gold and silver coins. I’m thinking long-term here, not trying to day trade gold bars, you know? Just want to preserve the purchasing power of this nest egg. The actual transfer and purchase took about two and a half weeks from my initial contact to receiving confirmation the metals were secured. That felt like a reasonable timeframe.
Now, here's where I'm hoping to hear from others. Has anyone else done a significant rollover with Augusta? How are you feeling about your decision a year or two down the line? Any unexpected headaches? I'm feeling good about it right now – sleep a lot better knowing a good chunk isn't tied to the whims of the stock market – but I'm always open to different perspectives. Did I miss anything obvious?
