Is industrial demand finally gonna push silver out of gold's shadow?

Been watching silver closely for decades, ever since I retired from the plant in Detroit and really started digging deeper into precious metals after my 401k got hammered back in the day. Always had a soft spot for gold – it’s been the bedrock of my portfolio through some pretty wild market swings, especially a fair chunk of my Gold IRA. But silver, man, it just feels like it's perpetually undervalued, despite how essential it is to so much of what we use every single day.
I've got a good amount of silver bullion, probably around 15-20% of my overall metals holdings that are approaching that million-dollar mark, and I frequently scratch my head wondering when the industrial demand is actually going to translate into significant price action. You hear all the time about solar panels, EVs, electronics – basically everything new age needs silver. With governments around the world pushing green energy initiatives, and the auto industry (which I know like the back of my hand) going all-in on EVs, the demand for silver should just be skyrocketing. Are we missing something, or is the market just too good at suppressing its true value?
Anyone else feel like silver's industrial use case is just… not getting enough credit in the price? Or is it a matter of supply still easily meeting that demand, despite all the projections? I'm bullish long-term, especially with inflation concerns always lingering, but sometimes I wonder if I should be reallocating some of my silver into more gold, or even some of the platinum group metals that seem to react more immediately to industrial demand. Would love to hear some other perspectives on this, especially from those who have been in this game as long as I have.
