Gold IRA Custodians - who do you guys use and why?

Okay, so I've been wrestling with this lately. My Gold IRA is sitting right around the $75k mark now, which is pretty exciting for someone who started watching precious metals during the 2008 crash. My current custodian, while not terrible, just doesn't feel like they're keeping pace with my needs or offering the best value. I'm a principal here in Little Rock, and part of my job is teaching financial literacy to our advanced economics kids, so I like to think I know a thing or two, but sometimes it feels like navigating the custodian landscape is a whole different beast.
Specifically, I'm looking for recommendations for custodians that handle gold rounds well. I've got mostly American Gold Eagles and some Canadian Maples in there, and I want to make sure wherever I move them next is efficient and transparent with their fees. My current outfit seems to have a new "administrative" fee pop up every other quarter, and it's starting to really grate on me. I've heard some good things about Equity Trust and Kingdom Trust, but I'm curious about real-world experiences. Has anyone here had any really positive or really negative experiences with them? Or others?
I'm also really interested in hearing about their customer service. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall with my current custodian. I just want someone who can answer my questions clearly and promptly, especially when it comes to consolidating statements or understanding storage options. I'm not looking to move my metals every year, but knowing I could get decent support if I needed to make changes or rebalance is a big deal to me. What’s your typical response time like with your custodian?
Any insights on what to watch out for, hidden fees, or things you wish you had known before choosing your custodian would be incredibly helpful. This is a significant chunk of my retirement savings, and I want to make sure it's in the best hands possible. Thanks in advance for any advice, fellow investors!
