Custodian hunt - who are you guys using?

Alright, so I’m really trying to dial in my Gold IRA situation, approaching the half-million mark in my portfolio and want to make sure I’ve got the best possible setup. I'm a manufacturing exec here in Cleveland, and for me, it's all about tangible assets you can actually hold (even if it's in a vault somewhere). My current custodian has been… fine. Not terrible, but definitely not blowing my socks off with their service or fees. I'm starting to feel like I'm leaving money on the table, or at least not getting the white-glove treatment I think someone with a portfolio of this size should be getting.
I’m particularly interested in hearing about people’s experiences with custodians who handle physical gold and silver IRAs. What are the fees looking like for y’all? Storage, admin, everything. Honestly, it’s the lack of transparency with some of these companies that bugs me the most. I want to know exactly what I’m paying for and why. Are there any custodians out there that offer a more streamlined process or better reporting? I've heard some horror stories about transferring assets, and I really want to avoid that headache.
Also, any insights on customer service would be huge. My current provider feels like I'm talking to a different person every time, and I have to explain my situation from scratch. It's just inefficient. I want a dedicated rep, or at least a team that remembers me and my account history. For those of you who have made a switch, what was that like? Any red flags to watch out for? I’m serious about this, trying to set things up solid for the next 20-30 years.
I've been poking around online, including that Gold IRA Quiz at https://quiz.goldirablueprint.com/?forum which was actually pretty helpful for understanding some of the basics and what I should be looking for. But nothing beats real-world experiences. Lay it on me – who are you guys trusting with your hard assets, and why?
