Finally figured out what accounts I can roll over! (And it was surprisingly easy)

Hey everyone,
Joshua Phillips here, from Birmingham. Been working in steel my whole life, so I know a thing or two about commodities and why tangible assets matter, especially with all the economic uncertainty these days. I’ve had a good chunk of my retirement, about $350k, in a Gold IRA for a few years now, and it’s been a solid move for me. But I've always had these nagging thoughts about my other old retirement accounts – some old 401(k)s from previous jobs, a SEP-IRA, even an old Roth. I knew some of them might be eligible for a rollover into a Gold IRA, but honestly, the thought of trying to untangle all the rules and figure out what was what just kept me putting it off.
That’s where something pretty cool came in. I stumbled across this tool called the Eligibility Checker. I was skeptical, figured it'd be some complicated form asking for a bunch of details I didn't have handy. But it was actually really straightforward. I plugged in the type of accounts I had (e.g., "old 401k," "SEP-IRA," "traditional IRA"), answered a couple of quick questions, and BAM – it gave me a clear "Eligible" or "Not Eligible" for each. Even more importantly, it explained why, which was super helpful. Turns out, a couple of those older 401(k)s and my SEP-IRA are indeed eligible, which potentially adds another chunky bit to my precious metals holdings without me having to open a whole new account or anything. It's freed up a good chunk of mental real estate that was stressing me out!
Seriously, for anyone else sitting there wondering if their old 401(k) or other retirement accounts can be rolled over into a Gold IRA, I’d highly recommend checking out that Eligibility Checker. It saved me a ton of time and clarified things I'd been confused about for ages. Have any of you guys used similar tools that you found helpful? Always curious to hear about what works for others.
