Diversified my Gold IRA with Silver - Anyone else?

Been following this sub for a while, figured I'd finally chime in with something that might spark some discussion. I know the general consensus here is heavily tilted towards gold, and for good reason, but I recently decided to add a good chunk of silver to my Gold IRA.
My portfolio is sitting around the $180k mark right now, and about 15% of that was pure gold in the IRA. I work as an executive secretary for one of the big oil companies here in Tulsa, and honestly, hearing the big guys talk about resource scarcity, inflation hedges, and industrial demand for precious metals really got me thinking. They're not always directly talking about my portfolio of course, but the principles apply. I started wondering if I was putting too many eggs in one basket, even if that basket was gold.
So, after a lot of research (and a few late nights watching YouTube channels these execs probably scoff at!), I decided to allocate about 5% of my total IRA value to silver. I figure it offers a bit of a different risk profile and could benefit from industrial demand spikes in a way gold might not, while still being a strong hedge against inflation. It felt like a smart diversification move without straying too far from the core strategy. I used the same company I'd been using for my gold, and the process was pretty straightforward.
Anyone else here diversified their precious metals IRA to include silver? What were your reasons? Or am I just overthinking things and should stick to the tried and true path of pure gold?
