Custodian fees for my Gold IRA - what are you all paying?

Hey all, long-time lurker, first-time poster on this sub. Minneapolis-based marketing exec here, really trying to nail down all the costs associated with my Gold IRA as I'm looking to potentially retire a bit earlier than originally planned – aiming for 55. I’ve currently got about $180k in precious metals and I'm looking at custodian fees, and frankly, they seem wildly different depending on who I talk to. I'm with a pretty well-known provider right now, and while I love their service, their annual maintenance fee just jumped a little. Not a huge jump, but enough to make me think about shopping around.
I'm primarily interested in annual storage and administrative fees. Some companies seem to have flat fees, while others charge a percentage of your holdings. With my portfolio size, obviously a percentage could really add up over time. It makes me wonder if I should be considering a flat fee structure more seriously. For example, I’ve seen some offering flat $200-$250/year, while others are hitting me with 0.15% - 0.20% of my total asset value. That could be an extra "$100-150 out of my pocket each year based on current valuations, and potentially more as my investments grow. This might not sound like a lot but it adds up over 10-15 years, especially when you're trying to maximize every dollar for early retirement.
So, for those of you with similar portfolio sizes (say, between $100k-$250k) what are you paying for your Gold IRA custodian fees? Are you seeing flat fees or percentage-based? And does anyone have strong recommendations for custodians known for competitive fees without sacrificing security or ease of access? I'm trying to balance cost savings with peace of mind. Any insights or war stories from switching custodians would be super helpful!
