Birch Gold for smaller accounts? My 150k experience

Okay, so I've been seeing a lot of chatter lately on here about different gold IRA companies, especially for bigger accounts. But what about us folks who are just starting out, or maybe have a decent chunk but aren't talking 7 figures yet? I'm sitting down here in Miami, trying to build up my retirement nest egg as a real estate agent – busy busy busy – and I'm currently hovering around the $150k mark in my Gold IRA. I went with Birch Gold about two years ago after doing some serious digging, mainly because their minimum was accessible, and honestly, their reps seemed a lot less pushy than some of the others.
My experience has been pretty smooth sailing so far. I put about 100k in originally, mostly buying American Gold Eagles and some Canadian Maples. Since then, I've rolled over another 50k from an old 401k, diversifying a bit into some silver too. The pricing seemed fair at the time, and I didn't feel like I was getting hosed on premiums, though I know that's always a moving target with precious metals. Their communication has been solid – always got someone on the phone when I needed them, and they walked me through the whole rollover process which felt a bit intimidating at first. No hidden fees have popped up, which is a huge relief when you're trying to project your retirement income.
My biggest concern initially was the storage fees for a "smaller" account like mine, but those turned out to be pretty reasonable. They use Delaware Depository, which gives me peace of mind. I'm not planning on touching this for another 15-20 years, so stability and reliability are key. Has anyone else here had a similar experience with Birch Gold at a similar portfolio size? Or maybe a different company that you'd recommend for someone in my position? I'm always open to learning more and optimizing this thing.
