Augusta Precious Metals - My experience after a year (pretty solid, Spokane fam)

Been seeing a lot of chatter lately about Gold IRAs and specifically Augusta Precious Metals, so thought I'd throw my two cents in. It's been just over a year since I rolled over a decent chunk of my inherited IRA – think somewhere in the neighborhood of $350k – into physical gold and silver with them. My family's been in timber around Spokane for generations, so I'm inherently pretty conservative with investments. The idea of having a significant hedge against inflation and general market jitters just made a lot of sense, especially with how things have been looking globally.
The process itself was smoother than I expected, honestly. I'd heard stories about these things being a nightmare of paperwork and pushy sales tactics, but my experience with Augusta was far from it. My rep, I won't name names, but he was incredibly patient. We spent probably three or four calls just going over the mechanics, the storage options (I went with Delaware Depository, seemed like the most secure bet), and the different types of eligible metals. Never felt pressured to buy anything specific, which was a huge relief.
The biggest thing for me was the transparency on fees and spreads. They laid it all out clearly, no hidden surprises, which is a rare thing these days. Shipping and storage were all handled without a hitch. I even used that Eligibility Checker tool I saw linked on a few forums (think it was from goldirablueprint.com, yeah that one) just to make sure I wasn't missing any weird IRS rules before I even called anyone. It gave me a good foundational understanding of what I was getting into. So far, the comfort of knowing that portion of my wealth isn't just numbers on a screen has been invaluable.
Curious if anyone else here has gone with Augusta or another provider for a physical Gold IRA? What were your experiences, positive or negative? And for those who've been in it longer, what are your thoughts on a rebalancing strategy down the line with physical assets like this?
