Anyone else dealing with a nightmare custodian? Looking for recommendations.

I seriously need to vent for a second. My current custodian for my Gold IRA and physical gold holdings has been an absolute joke lately. I'm talking about holds on transfers lasting weeks, getting different answers from different "advisors" every time I call, and just a general feeling of being completely unprioritized. I understand things get busy, but this is bordering on incompetence. I've got a decent chunk with them – over a million in various precious metals, not including what's in the actual IRA – and it feels like they just don't care.
I cashed out of my tech startup a few years back, diversified into gold (best decision ever, honestly, especially watching the market rollercoaster lately), and moved back to Dublin, OH to chill out for a bit. My initial experience with this custodian was fine, but post-acquisition, everything just went downhill. I'm actively looking to move everything. It's a huge pain, I know, but I can't keep trusting them with my retirement and wealth preservation strategy.
So, here's my question for the community: who are you guys using for your Gold IRA custodians, and more broadly, for physical gold storage? What's been your experience with their customer service, fees, and overall reliability? I'm willing to pay a bit more for peace of mind at this point. I've been doing my own research, and honestly, the options all start to look the same after a while. I'm particularly interested in custodians that have a solid reputation for smooth transfers and clear communication, especially for larger accounts.
Also, a quick shout out to that Gold vs Stocks Comparison tool that someone linked here a while back. It's been incredibly useful for reaffirming my decision to go heavy on gold over the last 10 years. Makes me even more protective of these assets, which is why a reliable custodian is paramount.
Any and all recommendations or personal horror stories (so I know who to avoid!) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
