Any experience with Birch Gold for a smaller portfolio?

I've been doing a lot of research lately into diversifying my retirement savings. My late husband was always so meticulous with our finances, and since he passed a few years ago, I've been trying my best to really protect what he built for us. Itβs important to me to carry on that legacy, and honestly, the current market got me feeling a bit antsy about just having everything in stocks.
I'm looking at putting about $50,000 to $75,000 into a Gold IRA, specifically thinking about some silver bars. I've seen Birch Gold Group mentioned a lot, and they seem to have a decent reputation. However, most of the glowing reviews I read online seem to be from folks with much larger accounts, like six figures and up. I'm just curious if anyone here with a more modest portfolio, similar to mine, has had a good experience with Birch Gold?
My main concerns are obviously the fees β are they reasonable for a smaller account size? And how was the customer service? Iβm based out of Raleigh, NC, and while I know a lot of this is done remotely, having clear communication is really important to me. Did you feel like you were getting the same attention as someone bringing in a lot more capital?
I just want to make sure I'm doing my due diligence. Any personal experiences, good or bad, with Birch Gold Group for a portfolio in the $50k-$75k range would be so helpful. Thanks in advance for sharing your insights!
